cocorico or the problem with the gallic rooster
here the rooster is represented by the french colours - bleu-blanc-rouge (blue-white-red).
the rooster is the symbole of france, le coq francais, and when it sings the french call it "cocorico" ...
cocorico also has the meaning of "being very centered on france and its culture" in quite a negative way that is ...
thus the name I chose for this artwork ... because sometimes some french are a bit too
"cocorico" for me ... as well as for my husband who is french himself hating
that sort of self-centeredness of his compatriots.
nevertheless, I still do love france and its culture, just as much as I do love other
countries and their rich cultures ...
so stop being too much "cocorico" ...
